January 7–25, 2008

A 3-week residential workshop based at Earthdance retreat center focusing on Contact Improvisation, Changing States, Improvisational Scores, The Underscore, Composition, and Performance. This year’s workshop is open to anyone with previous experience in contact improvisation (approx. intermediate level).

The workshop will meet Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. in studios at Earthdance, in town, and at an Aikido dojo, and will include physical training, improvisation and composition scores, jamming, watching, discussion, feedback, contemplative practice, and performance studies. There will be occasional evening and weekend activities.
